“Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!”
Allegiance: Watcher's Guild
Function: Performer / Writer / Reconnaissance
Has an innate sense of when a scene is tanking. Can transform into a disproportionally small 1980s cassette player. Possesses a theatre degree. His only weakness is his crippling self-doubt.

Ian MacIntyre hails from Nova Scotia, where he helped create and star in The Oprov (The Improvised Soap Opera), and was invited to perform with Halifax's premiere improv group "The Improv Knights". He studied theatre at the Dalhousie University Acting Programme, where he was fortunate to work with artists such as Dr. David Overton and Daniel MacIvor. Toronto soon beckoned, and Ian relocated to complete the Second City's Conservatory Program. He has gone on to perform improv with the Bad Dog Theatre, The Impatient Theatre Co, Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding, and at several other venues in Toronto. He has also been fortunate enough to study with industry professional such as Joe Flaherty, Mick Napier, Andrew Currie, and Jeff Griggs. Since 2005, Ian has been making a name for himself as a member of Approximately 3 Peters, Toronto's number one purveyor of "sketch comedy for nerds". In 2007, he placed third out of eight finalists selected from hundreds who auditioned across Canada on CBC’s reality TV show, Second City’s Next Comedy Legend. He has since performed for the Second City aboard Norwegian Cruise Lines, traveling through the Caribbean. He was also once almost eaten by a bear. Seriously. Ian MacIntyre is represented by Butler Ruston Bell Talent Associates, Inc. |
